For electrical contractors

AI receptionist for electricians

You can’t answer the phone from inside a panel. ComputerPro answers in your shop’s name, works out what the caller needs, files the job where your crew already looks, and puts real emergencies straight through to you.

Updated

The calls you get

It already knows the work.

We set it up with your services, your hours and your area, so it can tell a routine call from the one that can’t wait.

  • Panel upgrades and service changes
  • Outlets, breakers that keep tripping, lights out
  • EV charger and generator installs
  • Commercial tenant work and estimates

Your rules

You decide what rings your cell.

Everything else is captured as a job and waiting for you. Common choices for electrical contractors:

  • Burning smell or sparking
  • Total loss of power
  • Storm damage to a service drop

Every job it files includes:

  • Caller name
  • Callback number
  • Service address
  • What they need, in their words
  • Residential or commercial
  • Panel size or age if they know it
Sample call · illustration
  1. Receptionist: Thanks for calling, this is the front desk. How can I help?
  2. Caller: Yeah, half my house lost power and the breaker won’t reset.
  3. Receptionist: Got it. Any burning smell or heat at the panel right now?
  4. Caller: No, nothing like that.
  5. Receptionist: Okay. What’s the address, and what’s the best number to reach you?

Hear the receptionist on a live line.

This one’s from an electrical contractor, but it’s the same receptionist we set up for electrical contractors, trained on your services instead.

Questions

Electricians: common questions.

Something we didn’t cover? Ask on the demo form or call.

Can it tell an emergency from a routine call?

Yes, on rules you set. You decide which situations ring your cell right away (for example a burning smell or a total outage) and which get captured as a job for the morning.

Will it quote prices?

Only if you want it to. Most electrical contractors have it collect the details and leave pricing to you or your estimator. If you have flat service-call or trip fees, it can state those.

Where do the jobs go?

Every job comes to you by email with the full details and is saved in your ComputerPro login. One electrical contractor we run it for has every call filed straight into their Wrike job board; connecting your board is a custom setup we scope with you first.
